1 What cookies are
Cookies are tiny files your browser keeps for a website. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. We only use the second kind if you say yes.
2 Cookies the site needs
These cannot be turned off because the site would not work without them. They do not track you around the web.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ci_session | Keeps you signed in and remembers where you are in a tablet. | Until you close the browser or sign out |
csrf_cookie_name | Protects forms from being sent by other websites. | Session |
fp_age | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18+. | 30 days |
fp_lang | Remembers your language, English or Hinglish. | 1 year |
fp_vid | A random number that links your yes choices (18+ check, cookie choice) together as proof of consent. It holds no personal data. | 1 year |
fp_consent | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. | 6 months |
Your browser also stores a few settings on your own phone (for example your text size in a tablet or a checklist). These never leave your device.
3 Analytics cookies, only with your yes
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages are useful. We use it only to improve the site, never to build an advertising profile of you. | Up to 2 years |
If you say no, none of these are set, and the site works exactly the same.
4 Cookies from other companies
When you pay, you go to the payment gateway’s page, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, they set theirs on their own pages. We do not control those.
5 Change your mind any time
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Turning analytics off stops new analytics cookies and clears the ones we can reach. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
